Romany Paco - World Champion

Dear All, Here are our current stallions. Pepper is a real gentle stallion who loves his mares and they love him back. We never see him serve the mares but he has proven to be a 100% fertile stallion getting all his mares in foal in 2009. Midas is our smallest stallion and well proven at breeding small but high quality ponies. Our World Champion Romany Paco is still going strong at 26 years. Humbug is his son and is also lovely and gentle. We have already scaled back our breeding program by selling some of our ponies including stallions. We will probably retire Romany Paco now as he has done a good job for us over the years and maybe in 2012 we may use Pepper and Midas on just a few mares for a very short time. We are not running any mares with stallions this year which is driving them mad. New News: Pepper got out on the 29th June 2010 for a few hours with the mares with foals. A couple of them were in season so we are worried about next year. We wanted and needed a holiday next year for a change but we may need to work around this now although we know the day which is helpful. We are trying to have a year off breeding to give us a better life. Kind Regards, Selwyn
